The pupils of Class 4.b celebrated Apple Day at the IGOR Lifelong Learning Centre in Marindvor. Through a range of activities, they got to know the queen of fruit: the apple. They took part in making fresh apple juice and cooking compote from several traditional apple varieties, which they also got to taste. They imagined new apple-based products, drew them and presented their ideas. Apples were also the subject of songs and poems they performed. The pupils played a relay game, carrying an apple on a spoon.
This day dedicated to one of the best-known fruits was filled with new discoveries, good company, laughter and outdoor fun.
