Andragogical workshops for employees of the Ministry of the Interior were held according to the approved program with the consent of the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, and organized by the Police Academy.
During the workshops, the participants had the opportunity to refresh their andragogic knowledge and expand it with new knowledge related to the planning and implementation of lessons directed towards the participant. Also, they were able to apply and upgrade their knowledge and skills in a number of tasks, and in a fun and interactive way, they became aware of the benefits of active teaching methods.
Igor Štavlić was one of the leaders/lecturers at workshops in the area of six police administrations during April and May 2022.

IGOR, Lifelong Learning Centre has just become a partner in the Erasmus+ project I.We.Society, 2020-1-LV01-KA227-ADU-094488. On March 1, 2021, the implementation of the two-year strategic partnership began. The Grobiņa Adult Education Center project coordinator is from Latvia, and the other partners are from Cyprus, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia and Spain. The total grant of the project for contractual period is estimated at 182.858,00 EUR.

The project is implemented by six adult education organizations, as follows:

During the implementation of the project, six online courses will be created for six different target groups of adult participants. The piloting of the new online courses will be carried out during 2022 and at the beginning of 2023 in all six partner countries.

School Management for the School of the Future is an education for principals and persons who, along with principals, participate in school management, as part of the activities of the Slavonika Regional Competence Center 5.1 project.

During the education, several workshops were held with the active participation of participants under the leadership of Igor Štavlić.

In order to encourage the successful implementation of New Opportunities for Adults (Upskilling Pathways), the European Commission organized online mutual learning workshops "Upskilling Pathways (UP Labs)".

The first online workshop, held from January 19 to 21, 2021, was attended by 7 EU member states - Estonia, Croatia, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta and Spain.

Members of the Croatian delegation were: Davorka Schmidt (Ministry of Science and Education), Nikola Stopfer (Ministry of Science and Education), Dario Baron (Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy), Višnja Rajić (University of Zagreb Faculty of Teacher Education), Antonela Šimunović (Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education), Ivana Drobac Kern (Croatian Employment Agency), Igor Štavlić (IGOR, Lifelong Learning Center) and national expert Marija Pavkov.

During the online workshops, the current state of implementation of "Upskilling Pathways" in EU member states was presented, a presentation of support for policy makers for the implementation of "Upskilling Pathways" and examples of good practice were exchanged. National approaches to the implementation of "Upskilling Pathways" were worked on in national and mixed working groups.

As part of our project "More innovations" 2020-1-HR01-KA104-077207, within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program, key activity 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals, Igor Štavlić chose and attended the structured course Innovative Approaches to Teaching lasting five days.

The structured course was held from August 17 to 21, 2020 in Prague, Czech Republic. The host institution was ITC – International TEFL Certificate s.r.o., Institute for Teacher Training. According to the available data, the host institution has many years of experience in organizing and implementing structured courses in several thematic areas and in several locations.

During the structured course Innovative Approaches to Teaching, the following topics were covered: Theoretical module – 21st Century Skills, Critical and creative thinking, how can it be developed?, Inquiry Based Learning, Task Based Learning, Gamifying the classroom, Using online applications in the classroom, Blended Learning - Flipped Classroom, Adapting teaching materials to suit the needs of differentiated, cases, Metacognition - teaching students to learn, ICT as a tool for development of creativity and critical thinking – Digital Storytelling, Modern trends in Formative assessment and Peer Education.

The structured course was excellently done and organized, and Igor Štavlić's participation in the mobility will contribute to raising the level of quality of preparation and implementation of future educations that will be led by IGOR, Lifelong Learning Centre.
